Perfume is quietly the biggest dupe category on the internet right now. Over the past week, searches for a handful of cheap clone-house bottles climbed hard: Spectre Wraith broke out, Maahir Honor rose about 300%, Angel Dust about 180%, and people are typing “Rayhaan Lion dupe of” into Google faster than anyone is writing answers. Here is what those five bottles are, what they get compared to, and what the designer version costs instead.

BEST PLACE TO START
Lattafa Khamrah — $35.87
It is the most reviewed bottle on this list by a wide margin, which means you can read thousands of opinions before you spend a cent, and it is the one most often lined up against Kilian Angels Share, a fragrance that runs around $285 for 50ml. If you have never bought from a clone house, this is the low-risk way to find out whether the category is for you.

How to read this post. I have not worn all five of these yet, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What follows is the listed note pyramid for each one, who is comparing it to what, and the current price against the designer bottle. My own wear tests get added here as I work through them, with the date on each.
Designer fragrance pricing has gotten hard to defend. A niche bottle that was $180 a few years ago sits near $300 now, and the houses turning out close-enough versions for $30 have gotten good enough that people wear them without apologizing. What changed this year is the search behavior: people are no longer looking up “perfume dupes” in general, they are looking up specific clone-house bottles by name. These five are the ones moving right now.

Prices checked September 23, 2026. Designer prices are the figures listed at major retailers that day and vary by size and seller. Clone-house prices move week to week, sometimes by $10.
1. Lattafa Khamrah
$35.87 · 100ml EDP
Listed notes: Cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot on top; dates, praline, tuberose and mahonial in the middle; vanilla, tonka bean, amberwood and myrrh in the base (Fragrantica)
Compared to: Kilian Angels Share, around $285 for 50ml
Who says so: Fragrantica reviewers and the fragrance-clone community. More than 30,000 ratings there, averaging 4.2
Check price on AmazonKhamrah is the bottle that made this category mainstream, and it is the one your friend already owns. Warm, spiced, boozy-sweet dates and vanilla. Fragrantica reviewers repeatedly flag two things: it is very strong at first spray, and it settles down faster than it starts. If you hate gourmand sweetness, this is not your entry point.
2. French Avenue Spectre Wraith
$33.50 · 80ml EDP
Listed notes: Rum and spices on top; coffee, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver in the middle; sugar cane in the base (Fragrantica)
Compared to: Kilian Black Phantom, listed around $305 for 50ml
Who says so: Sellers list it as a Black Phantom alternative and it is discussed that way on r/fragranceclones, where reviewers are split: some get the coffee and rum clearly, others say it reads oddly at first
Check price on AmazonThis is the bottle with the sharpest search jump of the week, which usually means a video landed somewhere. Coffee, rum and sugar cane is a specific, polarizing combination, so read the split reviews before you buy rather than after. The 80ml size gives it the best price per ml on this list.
3. Rayhaan Lion
$31.66 · 100ml EDP
Listed notes: Lavender, pear, mint and bergamot on top; cinnamon, clary sage and cumin in the middle; vanilla, amber, cedar and patchouli in the base (Fragrantica)
Compared to: Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male, around $126 for 125ml
Who says so: A Fragrantica forum thread ranks it against Lattafa Ramz Silver and Afnan 9PM as an Ultra Male alternative. It holds a 4.5 average across roughly 1,700 ratings
Check price on AmazonPear and lavender over a warm vanilla-amber base is the Ultra Male signature, and this is the cheapest well-reviewed route to it. It is the highest-rated bottle on this list. Worth knowing: the designer version here is $126, not $285, so the savings are real but less dramatic.
4. Khadlaj Panache Angel Dust
$41.90 · Eau de parfum
Listed notes: Vanilla, mandarin and red currant on top; tuberose, sandalwood and rum in the middle; vanilla in the base (Fragrantica)
Compared to: YSL Libre Vanille Couture, listed around $135
Who says so: TikTok and Instagram comparison videos posted in the last few weeks, plus Fragrantica ratings averaging 4.3 across about 600 ratings
Check price on AmazonThe newest bottle here, launched in 2026, and the one whose trend is driven almost entirely by short video. Sweet, creamy, fruity vanilla. It is also the priciest on this list, and an extrait version sells for around $53, so check which concentration a listing is actually offering before you click buy.
5. Lattafa Maahir Honor
$30.57 · 100ml EDP
Listed notes: Mint, lemon, bergamot and thyme on top, moving into a rosemary-led aromatic heart (Fragrantica)
Compared to: Nothing settled yet
Who says so: No consensus. It launched in 2025, it was composed by Julien Rasquinet, a perfumer with real designer credits, and the clone community has not agreed on what it is chasing
Check price on AmazonThis is the interesting one. A fresh aromatic fougere rather than another sweet gourmand, from a named perfumer, with no agreed designer target. That makes it the hardest to recommend blind and the most likely to smell like something other than what everyone else is wearing.
How to test a cheap fragrance before you commit
- Spray one wrist only and leave it alone for four hours. Almost all of these open far louder than they finish.
- Check again at hour six. That is where budget bottles usually part ways with the designer version, and where the reviews start disagreeing.
- Wear it somewhere warm first. Heat moves these formulas more than it moves designer ones.
- Read the one-star reviews before the five-star ones. On clone-house bottles the complaints cluster around weak longevity and batch variation, and both are worth knowing in advance.
Questions people ask
Are these fakes?
No. They are their own brands with their own names, bottles and listings. A counterfeit is a fake sold as the designer bottle. These are legal fragrances built to smell similar, which is an old practice in this industry and not the same thing at all.
Do they last as long as the designer version?
Usually not, and the reviews say so. Expect the opening to be comparable and the dry down to be shorter and simpler. At a fraction of the price, most people decide they can re-spray.
Why do the prices keep changing?
These sell through third-party sellers whose prices move constantly. The figures on this page were checked September 23, 2026. Always look at the live price before buying.
Is one bottle enough to try the category?
Yes. Pick the note profile you already know you like, spend around $30, and wear it for a week before buying a second.
