Short version: some links on this site earn me a commission, and that never changes what I recommend.
Marcy Vanity is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
I may also take part in affiliate programs run by other retailers such as Target, Ulta and Sephora, through networks including Rakuten and Impact.
What that means in practice
- If you click an affiliate link on this site and buy something, the retailer pays me a small percentage of the sale.
- You pay exactly the same price. An affiliate link never costs you anything extra.
- Affiliate links are marked in the text, and every post that contains them says so before the first link appears.
- A commission is never a reason a product makes a list. Products that are not worth the money get said so in plain language, whether or not they pay.
How I choose what to feature
I buy the products I test with my own money unless a post says otherwise. If a brand ever sends something for free, or pays for placement, that will be stated clearly at the top of that post, in line with the Federal Trade Commission guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
Prices
Prices and availability on this site were accurate at the time each post was written or last updated, and the date is shown on the page. Retail prices change constantly, so always check the live price before you buy.
